Junghans of Germany. A Mystery Clock.

This is a fine example of an German Swing clock made by the Junghans Clock Company in Germany. This is a popular form. The elephant is bronze and very nice detailed. The mysterious swinging timepiece is attached to the outstretched trunk of the elephant. While the clock is operating. the face or dial and the pendulum rocks gently from side to side. This is a cute novelty. Both the arm and statue are in excellent original condition. The movement winds from the back. This clock is approximately 11 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The wooden base the elephant is mounted to is 7 inches long by 3.5 inches deep. this fine example was made circa 1910.
