This unsigned birch case tall clock is attributed to the Exeter, New Hampshire silversmith, engraver, watch and clockmaker, builder, hydraulic engineer, merchant, landlord, and instrument maker Benjamin Clark Gilman. We delivered this country case example to a local Massachusetts home. The case measures approximately 7 feet 2 inches tall to the top of the center finial and was made circa 1800.
