Waterbury Clock Co. of Waterbury, Connecticut. School clock. 221105.

This is a nice example of a Drop Octagon 12-inch clock made by the Waterbury Clock Company of Waterbury, Connecticut. The dark finish contrasts with the brass bezels and white painted dial. The time-only movement is brass construction and is die-stamped by the Maker on the front plate. It is a spring wound clock and is designed to run for eight days on a full wind. The pendulum bob is brass and can be viewed through the oval opening in the paint-decorated glass. This glass is mounted in the lower door in front of the case. The dial is painted on zinc, featuring Roman-style hour numerals and the Company's trademark. The Clockmaker's label is inside the case and pasted onto the backboard. The condition of which is good. 

This clock measures approximately measures 23.5 inches long.

This clock was made circa 1910.
