Noah Ranlet Clockmaker Gilmanton, Nh, and Monmouth, NH.

Noah Ranlet (Rundlet) was born on November 5, 1777, the older brother of Samuel Ranlet.

Noah Ranlet is listed as a clockmaker working in Gilmanton from 1797-1802. It is recorded in James Case's account books, now in the possession of the Ames Historical Society, that Charles and his brother Noah purchased nine clock cases from him. Chase was a Gilmanton cabinetmaker.

Noah formed a brief partnership with his brother Charles Ranlet Jr. (b.Sept 5, 1775) in 1803. They advertised the dissolution of this partnership in September of the same year in the U. S. Oracle & Portsmouth Advertiser, September 10, 1803.

Noah married Rachel Osgood (b1777) of Epping on April 7, 1800. They had 10 children.

Noah worked from 1810 to 1820 as a clockmaker in Monmouth, Maine.

His Brother, Samuel Ranlet, born March 3, 1780, was trained in Augusta, Maine, and worked in Monmouth, Maine.
