This intricate mantle clock is called the “Senator.” This model was cataloged in 1904 and originally sold for $45.00.
This very nice example is cased in oak and is decorated with numerous cast brass trimmings. The prominent decorations are the two female figures positioned on the sides of the case. The cast dial measures 6 inches in diameter. The details are cast into the front surface. The spring-driven movement is brass. It is an eight-day time and strike design, striking the hour and the half-hour on a wire gong. The movement is die-stamped on the front plate by the Maker.
This impressive clock was made circa 1905 and measures 22 inches tall, 19 inches wide, and 9.5 inches deep.
