Sessions Clock Company of Forestville, Conn. A long drop school clock. GG91

This is a nice example of a pressed oak case school clock made by the Sessions Clock Company of Forestville, Connecticut. The case wood is oak and retains a dark rich finish. The pressed designs give the clock decorative appeal. The brass bezel is fitted with glass and opens to access the dial. The paper dial measures twelve inches in diameter and is applied to a pan. This is an original dial that shows its age in the form of discoloration. The decorative pendulum bob is brass and can be viewed through the glass door in the front of the case. The door features the phrase, REGULATOR in bold gilt letters. The brass movement is spring powered and runs 8-days on a full wind. This clock is 26.75 inches long and was made circa 1910.
